Kenmore 90 series washer will not run. Pulling on the knob to begin a wash only causes a soft buzzing noise. This happened before and the machine fixed itself the next day, two times, I believe. This always happens during winter (washer room gets cold - as low as 40 in 0 degree weather). I can get what sounds like the drain cycle between wash and rinse to activate, but it doesn't sound quite right -- metallic and clicky. There's no water in the machine to my knowledge.

It was the cold :o

Thermometer registered 38 F in the room with the W/D. I dropped a little cube heater down inside and ran a space heater in the room. Once it hit 60 F in the room the washer went through all cycles OK.
