During the self clean cycle there was a loud POP, the breaker tripped and my range shut off. After resetting the breaker the display was blank and the only indicators lights on the control panel were for Bake Time and Clean. Surface elements all work. Oven door remains locked. I expect the oven control board needs to be replaced but what else could be wrong? I checked the continuity of the bake and broiler elements, they appear ok. Should I test the temperature probe also? How is this tested? What about the door lock? It is motor controlled. Will it function once the control board is replaced? Thanks for your help.

Page 10 has info on the oven sensor.

Since you heard a pop there is a good chance that there is some evidence (soot or a weld mark or a blown part) left where it shorted out. I would look for that.
