Well this has me think'n. My dryer times down and stays running till I turn timer or open door. It heats up and drys great. I have so far replaced timer,thermal fuse,thermal-cut off,high and low thermostats,cycle thermostat. Still won't shut off. Could have bought a new one for what I spent already. But like to tinker.

Good, we will be interested to hear how it turns out since this is a somewhat common problem and I have had success in the past with new start switches.

Changed the switch.Dryer times down and at the end wont shutoff.

Well darn, there is not much left to change out.
Try to check out the wiring, and test to see if it does this in all cycles, particular a no heat cycle if you have one.
