built IN DOUBLE OVEN
First the control led got dimmer and dimmer and then you could not even read it, but the ovens worked worked if you could guess at the settings.
Then it quit working
I replaced the control and the LED came on nice and bright, the LED showed the door locked and in about 15 seconds it unlocked the door.

BUT the touch pad only beeps when you press the hour up or the temp down button. None of the other buttons beep or respond at all .

I pulled the two red wires off the transformer and got 58.2 ohms
Reconnected the red wires and pulled off the two blue wires and got 2 ohms
Specs say it should be 75 to 95 ohms on red and less then 1 on blue
I reconnected/cleaned touchpad many times.........to no avail
Sister board? transformer? touchpad? new control board bad??

The issue lies with your touch pad. When you inserted the ribbon cable in the new control, did you lock it in place with the plastic clip on the connector?

yes I inserted and locked the ribbon 4 or 5 times. No change when I restored power. Could it be the sister board being that when I restore power the LED shows the door locked. Then it unlocks the door in 15 seconds

No, it is a touch pad issue. Let's try something. Turn the breaker off and use a hair dryer to heat the touch pads until very warm while rubbing firmly over each of them. Then, turn the breaker back on and see if the behavior has changed at all. Let me know what happens, please.

Ok I will let you know. Or I could try a new touchpad. Why would the touchpad and the control unit go bad at nearly the same time

The timing is probably coincidental or the ribbon connector was damaged during control replacement. The new touch pad for your model is available below. Only black is available.
