Small Paint Brush Stuck in Maytag Neptune Dryer Lint Trap

I have a Maytag Neptune Front Load Dryer MDG4000AWW purchased in 1999. It runs perfectly, but today a small paint brush that was on top of the dryer fell and got stuck in the lint trap. I've tried to dig it out with a wire hanger, but can't get a good grip on it to pull it out.
Is there another way I can get it out without having to call a repair man?

Thanks! I watched that video earlier, and was wondering if that was something I could do to get the brush out. Since you linked me to the video, I have no doubt that's the right thing to do.
I also noticed that he cut/plucked/pulled the wires for the moisture sensor with pliers. Is that something I have to do? I don't believe that I have replacement wires if I cut them.

No, you won't need to pull that front bulkhead all the way off. You will only need to pull the bottom out far enough to retrieve the brush. You won't need to disconnect any wires to do that. You can just reach around by the blower opening to grab the brush. Let me know how it goes!

That video really helped when it came to taking the dryer apart, and the paint brush is officially out!
The dryer is making a weird noise, like the drum is rubbing up against something, but I believe that's because it was put back together wrong. For now it's off, but at least the paint brush is out. Thank you so much for all of your help

Great job! When yoiu can, have a look inside the dryer, specifically around the very front of the drum. Can you see any of the felt seal poking through to the inside of the drum?
