Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/17/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		The microwave appears to operate normally, but the light in the microwave does not turn on anymore when I open the door. The light does go on when cooking. After cooking is complete and I open the door the microwave will continue to display "food is ready" and will beep periodically... As if I never opened the door to remove the food. That will only stop if I hit the clear button. Any ideas?

When you open the door, the switch should close to activate the light, also letting the control know the door has been opened so it will stop the end of cycle beeping. Do you have a meter to test with? The switch it will need is available below.
