We purchased a house with a 10-year old Gas viking range installed. Model is VGSC306-4BSS. The igniters had been replaced about two months ago (prior to us moving in).
Now, the oven will ignite when it is turned on, and the set temperature will be reached. Then the burners shut off for 30 seconds or a minute or so (as expected) and then reignite properly. This works for 5-10 minutes or so...but at some point, when it tries to reignite, the igniters just click several times and the burner never catches flame.
I can hear (and smell, if you open the door) the gas running but for some reason the burners do not ignite. Then, the red light just stays on and the oven never tries to ignite again.
There is no exact timing that this happens, but it always happens when the oven is hot -- if it's cold, and I turn the oven on, it catches immediately.
It also seems to work fine for a few minutes/cycles at least before it stops catching.
The repairman we brought in said it was the temperature control knob (I suspected it wasn't) and replaced that to no avail.
I would greatly appreciate any advice.

Adjust air shutter on bake burner to ensure good flame. Adjust/bend electrode slightly closer to burner. It's probably slowly creeping away from the burner as it gets hot. Eventually causing failed reignition because spark is too far from burner.
