Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/3/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		My maytag dryer wont turn off after cycle is done. The heat shuts off but the barrel keeps turning and the blower keeps blowing. The timer seems to be working fine. The only way turn shut it down is to open the door. As soon as you shut the door the it starts back up.

It could be that the start button on the keypad is shorted. On most units an error code comes up when a key is shorted but I do not see one for this unit. Check it with a meter.
