Bought a house 4 months ago and just realized how expensive 48" width counter depth fridges are, so I'd like to become at least a little educated on fridge repair. To that end, does anyone have a link to a service manual for a Kitchenaid KSSS48DW fridge? I am not sure if it is an X00, X01, X02, W00, or W01 (I haven't been able to locate a serial number and don't know how to tell otherwise).
My current problem is the freezer is working fine but the baffle doesn't appear to be working (I'm guessing the fan in the baffle is broken). I was planning on just replacing the entire baffle assembly (appears to be part #1113592) and seeing if that works. If not, I'm guessing the next logical step would be to see if the problem is at the control board.
I'm a newbie at fridge repair, so any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am currently having the exact same issue. I was wondering if you ever found a solution to this problem or if you found a part to purchase?
