Hi when i started the dryer it just hummed. I tried giving it a turn while pressing the start button and it started to work. Now it appears to be working fine. I'm afraid once a get a full load in the dryer it wont start again. What could this be. I checked the belts etc and it appears to be fine. Thx

Most likely the motor is on it's last legs.

Try turning the drum by hand in the correct direction. It should turn fairly easily.
If not you may have a drum mounting problem that is putting too much load on the motor,

Also if you get heat when the motor is not turning it could be a problem with the centrifugal switch on the motor. May be stuck in the activated position.
This could be just that it is dirty.
