Keep getting a 'de' code which is door error which means door not closed and the cycle will not start. If we keep trying and open and close and giggle the door it will work and the cycle will finally start. We replaced the door latch/switch part and are getting the same error but now the door won't open at the end of the cycle. So we put the old switch back on and at least the door opens at the end of the cycle again. The wiring harness appears to be ok. This is very frustrating and I see many others on the web are having the same problem.

Does anybody have a fix for this problem.

LG's are infamous for this because there parts are cheaply made....Same thing with Samsung same problems.........You may have gotten a faulty door lock try and return it if you can..........but more then likely it's the main board that's not sending the adequate voltage to the switch intermitantly..........Good luck.......

Thanks, I requested a replacement part.... At least I can try that again.
The main board is probably expensive and tricky to install.
