This washer is doing everything well. However, during the agitating cycle there is a "whirring, almost grinding" noise sounds like something is about to go. But all works, filling, draining and agitating, cloths come out clean, just noisy. thks

There could be something caught in the agitator so check that out, but more likely there is a problem with the transmission or brakes.

Operate it with the front panel off to see if you can learn more, but it may be that the cost of the repair in this case is just not worth it, so go ahead and use the machine until it fails.
