My front load washer will fill, timer goes through it's cycle. Washer will not agatate or spin-out. Washer drains, timer goes off door unlocks. So my problem is washer will not agatate or spin dry. Any clue anyone, before I start :( parts :( at this thing?

Remove the bottom panel. There should be an envelope with the tech sheets.

I would start the diagnosis from the door latch assembly.

Then test the motor control board and the motor.

Post your findings, please.

Gene.

I had a Tech. out yesterday afternoon before I got your reply on how to troubleshoot my problem. The Tech. said it is the Control Board. He wanted $164.95 for the part and $38.00 to install it. I found the part online for $120.49 and will have the part no later than Friday. Looks pretty east to install myself. Should there be any tricks of the trade for this or anything I should be aware of while installing this part, please let me know. I will keep everyone informed on my progress. Lets hope this Tech. knows what he was talking about and I'm not buying more parts.

Hello, everyone. Well I just put the New Control Module on my washer and I'm on my 3rd. wash. Thanks Gene for your help. Let's hope I get another 4-5 years out of this module. I heard that the people who make washer and dryers, make them to only last about 5 years before they start to break down because thats the average length of a marriage. Real sadd if that is true. Good luck everyone, thankyou again Gene.

I'm glad you were able to fix it.
