Last night we noticed our freezer was not working ... And refrige was at 50* Lights work Fans are both running....
I did have to go to the breaker board in the basement yesterday because it had thrown the switch... I did not think much of it at the time
And then we end up with this a day later....
Now what????

it is not an everyday thing for a ref to kick a breaker. if you have a clicking noise from behind the ref. i would suspect the compressor is unable to start. also there is a mother board on the back of ref. i have seen the compressor relay on board go bad and click continually without starting the compressor. determine where click is coming from. if from board, replace. if from compressor it could be bad or the start relay on the side of it could be bad. if the compressor is running check the cooling coils in the freezer section, make sure they are not stopped up with ice. if they are the box will not cool well on either side. this would indicate a self defrosting problem
