Hopefully someone can help with this problem. The washer functions properly until the spin cycle is complete. All the water is gone, but clothes are very wet. I replaced the trust bearing kit, but that made no difference. I can turn the pulley CCW and the brake disengages and the pulley turns very freely, however, while turning the pulley the basket can be held still. The agitator does not move unless I turn the pulley CW. I assume the transmission is bad. It was replaced under warranty about 3 years ago. Doesn't seem to be making any weird noises. Any other possible things to check, or buy new trans?

When rotating the pulley CCW, if the lower cam and transmission input shaft are rotating with it, then yes, the transmission is faulty.

New transmission did the trick. Works like it did when new. Thanks for the advice.
