Hi, this washer has an accumulation of mold that seems to be ingrained in the bellows between the door and drum that seems to be un-treatable. Cleaners don't seem to touch it and diligence in keeping it dry is futile. I understand that this can be a common problem with front loaders so somebody must have successfully dealt with this issue. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Larry

This is a huge problem with front loaders, and is almost unsolvable. The problem is water gets into the bellows and even with a drain arrangement the bellows seldom get dry enough to prevent mold. Mold is one of the major reasons why I recommend against a front loader unless you absolutely have to have it.
I would try Clorox Foam Cleaner with bleach to get it out. Then check to see if there is a drain arrangement and if it is clogged. Finally, after each wash you may need to take a towel and dry out the gasket.
