First normal stopped working but we could use auto wash. Then that stopped and also the start button. No lights came on except if I pushed delay then all lights would come on but start would not work. Then all lights would go out after a minute and nothing would work, not even delay. I replaced the electronic control board with a used one guaranteed to work. Same problem occured. I thought maybe the ground was bad so I disconnected and noted that the touch pad responded the same way as when the ground was connected. I reconnected the ground and noted the problem was still there. How do I check for good ground on the board. How do I ohm out the ribbon on the touch pad? Where can I find a good used touch pad?

Hello,

Most likely the problem is a bad keypad which is a part of the control panel. Unfortunately Whirlpool (not Maytag) did not provide any instructions on how to test it but if you will order the part form APP and it would not fix the problem then you can easy return it.
