My GE clothes washer has green LED lights under each "wash status" on the front panel, those being FILL, SOAK, WASH, RINSE, and SPIN. When you push start, the green light under FILL comes on and the machine fills with water. The machine is then suppose to advance to the WASH cycle, but it doesn't. It just makes a clicking sound, and the Green LED lights, rather than moving over to the WASH light, flicker back and forth between FILL and WASH. If I push the start/pause button, the machine agitates for about 4 to 5 seconds, then stops and the clicking contiunes. I can move the controls to Drain, Rinse, and Spin and the machine does all of those. It just won't advance past fill and start the WASH cycle. This is a pretty simple, top loading machine. Could this be the control board?
