Hello,

I have a KitchenAid KSCS25FTMS side-by-side fridge which freezes foods that are in the fridge but only when the foods are placed on the side that is next to the freezes side, i.e. if I put foods on the other side (free side), foods stay OK. This model has a vent/opening from freezer into the main fridge, supposedly for "extra cold" feature, which I do keep closed. Anyone has any ideas why this is happening and how it can be fixed?

Thank you.

Check the air return vents near the lower crisper drawers.
