Merry Christmas..... It quit working yesterday... ugh. All controls work, control panel works, PL is on 10, turntable turns, light works w / door open & shut; just starts to hum and no heating happening. I have read others threads. I am very handy, and need to fix it. With (3) kids and a wife, patience and fears of loss and possible cost are the focus. Help! Your advice and expertise are greatly appreciated.

Hi.

The problem you have is most likely on the hi - voltage side.Diod, magnetron, capacitor.Smaller chance for the transformer.

Here are the breakdown diagram and Microwave parts for GE JE1860WB002 - AppliancePartsPros.com

Use the attached link to check the components.

Post the results.
