Before you replace the control, best to measure the freezer and refrigerator temperatures.

Yes, measure the temperature. It should be no more than 1" high or 3/4" wide when displayed in 3-D....lol

You got to be more professional on this forum. I and many responders do not recomend parts replacement unless there is more definitive info that confirms it. He could have a stuck damper, or system problems.
