Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 1/28/2008(UTC) Posts: 4		Washer seems to get off balance with just about every load. Tub seems to bang all the way from side to side. Should there be some sort of limiting device (spring or bumper). Can't tell by looking at schematics on GE website. Thanks.

Remove the back panel and check the friction pads on the bottom, probably some fell out, there should be eight friction pads in four leaf springs. It also helps to sand the frame members that slide in these.
