The microwave will turn on and run for about 20 seconds and then stop and an error message shows F7. The timer works fine. Is there a way to fix this?:(

The "F7" error code means "Power to the magnetron interrupted".

You have to have a simple multimeter and knowledge on how to use it to perform the diagnosis as described in the attached tech sheet on page 10 for the F7 error code.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Parts for Whirlpool GH7208XRS1 Microwave - AppliancePartsPros.com

My microwave started displaying F7 intermittently, for a few days, then continuously. After reading this thread and posts on Utube about how to disassemble a microwave, I took the key pad off, revealing the relay panel inside. I wiggled each relay and found one that was loose. It was the only relay with wires coming out of the top. On the solder side of the board two contacts from the relay had broken solder joints. I re soldered the contacts and reassembled the microwave. It has been working fine since. It took me just 20 minutes to make the repair. thanks for the help, it got me going in the right direction.
