My GE Profile side-by-side just recently quit working (2 months over the 10 year warranty). The lights are on, fans work in both compartments, but neither cools. Having run the self diagnostics, the temperature control to dispense board communication test failed and after setting the pre-chill control, confirmed 120V across the J7-9 orange to TAB1/J11 black. The damper diagnosis was inconclusive (not sure if it opened or not). We are not certain how to test the power to the compressor itself. Can you suggest from this information, which parts may need replacement?

Hi Steph,

Remove the wire from the J8 terminal and check for 120 VAC between this terminal and the J7-9 wire while the control calls for cooling.

If the reading is incorrect, replace the main control board.
