I have a Sharp wall-mount microwave R-1214F. The turntable stopped working. Of course, it's recently out of warranty.
It can be turned manually and once or twice it turned on its own about 20-25 degrees. I'd like to check the wires to the motor without removing it from the wall. Can this be done? Also is there a replacement motor available? Who actually makes Sharp microwave ovens? Thank you for you consideration.

You have to drop the bottom panel to get to the drive motor.
There may be a plastic drive coupler that sticks up through
the bottom that couples the motor to the tray. Check to
for any cracks or breakage in this before condemning the drive motor.

Thanks glen65. I removed the motor. It measures infinite resistance and won't run when I hook it directly up to the house wiring. I ordered a new one. thank you again for your help.
