First find out is bypass jet is down hollow stem, it is, im supposed to insert screwdriver in hole and turn bypass screw, but there is a large plastic cover at the bottom, should i break through this with the screwdriver to bottom out my screw or something else. Thanks

You simply have to punch through that cover at the bottom of the shaft with the screwdriver. I wish Bosch clarified that in the manual. Bosch support was completely stumped and helpless - they suggested that I may need to take off the top of the range to find that silly screw!!!
