My ice maker works fine but will shut off either when the arm is raised or when the bucket is full of ice. I have to pull the bucket out & empty it periodically.

Based on the way you have this worded its working fine.
Its normal to once in awhile to have to get rid of the old ice.

Glen,
I apologize I made a typo...The ice maker WILL NOT shut off when the arm is raised either by doing it manually or if the ice gets high enough to push it up. Again I apologize..

You most likely need this part of the Ice maker. (motor module #35)
Part Details - WHIRLPOOL MOTOR-MODL, part number: AP4359694
This is the part that has the ice level shut off switch

Hi Glen,
I got the motor module for my Whirlpool refrigerator & am trying to replace the old one. I removed the cover & the mounting screws but the module itself won't come off. I didn't want to force it thinking there may be something else I have missed. Could you shed any light on this?

Thanks,
Russ
