Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/8/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		I put a dent in the control panel (the stainless steel cover that surrounds the Electronic Oven Control. Manufacturer's Number: 4451791 Made by Whirlpool. I removed the trim pieces and then removed the 2 screws on the control panel I pull from the bottom while lifting to try and remove the stainless steel cover/panel but something is still preventing me from removing it and the Electronic oven control seems to want to come with it when I try and remove. Would like to remove this panel to replace it with a new one. I do not want to order a new one until I can remove the old one. Can you tell me how to remove this panel? thank you

That's why they are coming out together. Having the new control panel in front of you will help you to determine how to disassemble them. If you will order the new part from APP, you can return it at any time if you would not be able to install it. Gene.
