Amanna Gas range oven heating problems/ Amanna Model ARG7600WW P1143333NWW. Cleaned the unit and all went fine this is the last time the oven worked prior. Broiler works fine and lites off .Canceled the operation. Cleaning feature works fine an lites off. Canceled the operation. Stove top functions fine.
Remedies I have tried per a repair man. Replaced the electronic module, oven does not function. Because the unit did not bake at the required temp I needed to add 5-10 degrees to the temp setting, I also replaced the temp probe at the same time.
I cannot find a in line fuse nor any other part that has anything to do with the baking cycle. There are no burnt off wires at the terminals. This repair advice i received has cost over $200.00 and still no oven to bake in. If anyone out there can shed some light what I need to do it would be appreciated to get this oven functioning. Thank you ,Don

Hi Don, Unplug the bake igniter and check for 120V when the control calls for Bake. Replace the igniter if there is 120V. - The part number for the bake igniter is AP172397 Here are the break down diagrams for the Amana range Model ARG7600WWGene.

How did you know if the bake burner was "on" for the clean cycle?
I still need you to check the power to the igniter.
Gene.

Gene thank you for the prompt replies. Here is what I found out. Bake cycle does not have 120V to the ignitor Clean cycle has 120V to the ignitor Broil cycle has 120V to the ignitor.
You asked the question of how I knew that it was working. Heat coming front the exhaust. Observed the ignitor glowing.
Thank you for your help. Don

Gene, laying in bed I began to think hell there are two different burners in this oven, so went and found out how to get at the lower ignitor. Tested the connection, yes I do have 120V to the connector, then I went and took a ohm's reading on the ignitor dead. So this is the ignitor that is defective. Not to identify it this one has connector built on to it this one is green in color and the leads are approx.12" long with the heat protective covering on them. To better identify I had to go in thru the drawer, and remove the shield at the rear. So if you would give me the part number for this one I will immediately order. Thank you,Don

Gene, thank you for the advice. I feel very foolish when the real truth was known. This unit has two ignitors. Well again thank you and the part should be here in Baudette MN> this week. Don Tauer
