Hello,
I have a Whirlpool microwave that does not work. I changed one of the light bulbs from underneath and then the unit made a 'pop' sound. I reset my circuit breaker and tested the outlet, which works fine. However, now my microwave will not turn on in anyway; not lights, keypad or heat.

Is there a reset switch in the unit? Do I have to get a new one?

Thanks for helping me!

There is a internal fuse that may have blown.

Thanks Appliance Junk! Is it a simple fuse that I can pick up at a hardware store?

Maybe able to find one at the Hardware store.

Pull the old one out and take it with you.
