Someone help me please,
Did a stupid thing the other night. I removed the ice maker from my mother's GE refrigerator to clean it up and let it sit out all night. I didn't turn off the switch and now the refrigerator won't cool. Can someone help me out? Is this a problem with the motherboard? I read that on a few other sites that the motherboard has trouble getting off the warm cycle if you don't shut it off.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi, Dave.

What switch you mentioned "I didn't turn of the switch"?

To my knowledge the absence of the icemaker should not affect the fridge any how.

Try to turn off the fridge and unplug it for 10 min. See if that make a difference.

Thank you.

Simon.
