bottom freeze doorhandle fell off - has clips. how do I re-install?

A model number may help others help you.

Am guessing here but on many units the handle fits onto the clips and then you push down to seat it.

I would check the clips.
Also if it is the typed that a screw head fits into the clip perhaps tighten the screw a turn or two.

Be careful to not scratch your door.
