I bought a new icemaker installed it ( the old one did the same thing ) that is why I replaced it. I checked the water valve it was ok. ( I moved the wires from the door dispencer water valve to the ice maker valve pushed the water dispencer and it filled the icemaker waited and it dispenced the ice so I know the water valve is ok. What else could be wrong:mad:

You may have a bad connection between the ice makes and the valve. Check the plugs/receptacles for a backed out pin or bad crimp.It may be a bad wire so if you cannot find anything obvious you will have to do a continuity test using a meter.
