My fridge is about 20 years old. There was a problem with the earthing in the compressor. Every time we turn the fridge on, there would be current reaching the body of the fridge, due to current leakage in the compressor. So we have replaced the compressor and the gas (coolant) is now being filled in the line of the compressor. Now there is no current reaching the main wires (lead) for the compressor to start. We have used the chart to process through the steps to the allow the built-in diagnostic aids to pin point the specific failed component. All the functions are working fine. Still there is no current reaching the condenser fan and compressor. What could the problem be? Do you think we need to look into the transformer and relay assembly? There are 3 relays, one of them might not be working, we do not the circuit diagram for the transformer and relay assembly.

We have taken this refrigerator to India since the past 15 years and it is difficult to find a technician with the expertise to fix our fridge. Any help in this matter would be appreciated.

Thanks!
