I wanted to know your inside secrets for Whirlpool Washer Spin problems. I googled this topic and it lead me to your forum. The information you posted was good stuff but you told a lady you would send her some repair tips for her washer not spinning completely. You said something about taking some sand paper to the clutch that was interesting but you didn't say exactly what to do with the sandpaper. My washer is spinning all the water out of the tub but not slinging it out of the clothes like it should. If I run the dial all the way around again to 'SPIN' it will sling all the water out the second time. I never have to do it more than a second time to correct the problem but I would like to be able to not have to babysit this thing all the time either. Any info you can give is helpful.
Thanks, Aloulew:)

I don't know about 'sandpapering' the clutch lining, but I can strongly suggest you replace the clutch, this part here. Part number: AP3094537
The video will show you how to do it. Check the brakes also as they may be dragging and slowing down the spin. See the Sticky on direct drive brakes at the top of the main washer repair page.
