Hi all, I have a Maytag SE 1000 stackable washer/dryer unit. The washer
will intermittently, but not always, not be able to start the wash cycle after
unit fills with water. A red "L" display comes on and pushing the pause/resume
button is not doing the trick. At other times, the wash cycle will go through to
last rinse cycle, then lock again, unable to resume unless washer is turned off,
allowed to rest, then turned on again in the delicate cycle/spin. Do I need a new lid lock? A new circuit board or a new touch pad? I'd love the specific part name and number if anyone can help. Thanks much.

Difficult to say, so here is the service manual which will show you how to do some testing

Good luck
