Hi:

I have a GE oven range and recently I have started having a problem where the oven range door does not close. When I try to close it, it displays "locked door" on the panel and the lock motor seems to be working continuously as I hear the motor sound. What is wrong? And what needs to be done to fix it?

Thanks,

Hit

Hi Hit,

You may want to start the troubleshooting from checking the switches at the door latch assembly.

If any of the switches is bad, replace the door latch assembly.

If there is nothing wrong, replace the control board.
