To check it remove two screws in the corners of the control panel, lift the top, locate the 3 wire plug going trough the top. With washer unplugged, install the wire jumper between two outside wires. Turn the washer's spin. If it work - replace the lid switch Part number: 3949247 See the attached video for the instructions.
