"Hello. I have a Commercial Cool (Haier) portable A/C, heater, dehumidifier, fan unit. The model number is CPA14XHJ-B. I would just like to open the case so I can clean the inside. On the back side there are several phillips head screws that can be removed. However, there are two "screws", each located under the filter holder in deep holes. They look like Allen head but I can't get anything to fit in them. I have no idea what they are or how to get them out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I am not sure but they are probably Torx see the following.

Torx - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Note that there are two types of torx. One has a raised pin in the center (security torx) so the bit is hollow. If you can find it I would get this type as it is more versatile.

Hardware/auto/lumber stores carry them.
Youir big problem will be finding a set that will fit into the deep hole.
