several months ago I found my 2004 Whirlppol gold Conquest fridge gs6shexnl00 had stopped making ice. No problems before. Looked like the black rubber tube that directs the water from the line into the tray was frozen up so I thawed it out and it worked fine until two days ago. I went to the basement and found water on the floor below fridge. Pulled fridge out from the wall and found water was dripping from the top and back where the water line enters into the back of the unit at the top. Small amount of ise again in the black tube so i defrosted again and the water leak stopped. Today I found water again on the floor. Any idea whats going on other than the obvious that its freezing at the dispenser. What if any part could be causing the problem. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi,

Your water inlet valve maybe leaking a bit off water when it's off causing it to ice up. After it ices up the ice dam block the normal flow of water and it leaks out were it should not.
