So, my mom lives in Oklahoma (dad passed away 2 years ago or would have fixed it) and I am getting this info from her. I had to decipher the model (hope its right) she said it looked like R85245PD06 or PDD6, so after some googling I "hope" I got it right at RBS245PDQ6
Anyway, she did the "Self Cleaning" cycle that she loves and when my sister went to use it later that night, she said with the display at 350° when she pressed up arrow the temp went down to 345° instead of 355°. She then left it alone and just hit "Bake" and the oven never got hot. She then tried Broiler and it didnt work either. I am guessing the thermal fuse but the buttons working backward throws me off a bit. Any help?
Its also a built in and not sure how to remove it. Does power need to be shut off to house to remove from wall?

Hi. Assuming that the model number you provided is correct, you will need to replace the hi - limit thermostat located at the back of the oven. The hi- limit thermostat for RBS245PDQ6 oven Part number: 9759243
To replace the hi-limit you would have to turn off only oven circuit breaker. To remove the oven open the door, remove two small screws at the bottom of the trim one on each side. Grip on the trim at the bottom and pull it out and down (on each side). Remove the screws holding the oven to the cabinet and pull the oven out. Remove the back panel and replace the thermostat. Turn the breaker on and test the oven. Turn the power off, reassemble and reinstall the oven. Thank you. Post the results. Simon.

Simon. Thank you for your help, received the part yesterday and we put it in last night. It did help the oven to heat, and your instructions were a great help. This is Andy's mom (that owns the oven). This is what happened. It preheats at 350 and when you push the up temp. the numbers go down. So can not go above 350, what is my next move? Thanks, Shirley

Hi.
Unfortunately there is not much can be done. The problem is ether control panel or the control board. Both of them no longer available.
You can try this : turn off the power, remove the control panel (remove the side trims and two screws holding the panel.) Disconnect the flex ribbon connector and using the pencil eraser clean the end of the ribbon. Reconnect and try.
