If you trace the wiring I think you will find that the control assembly is the first component down stream from the power coming in. Past that I think you are just going to have to check for continuity. I don't like being negative, but you may well have rendered the washer unfixable, particularly given the cost of GE replacement parts.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		The problem with spending $200 on the board is that it may not fix your problem, and given the costs of GE parts (in addition to not being helpful they mark up their parts more than anyone else) you can quickly go through a lot of money and still end up with a non-functioning machine. I sympathize with your dilemma, hope whatever you do works out.
