My garbage disposal was jammed with a bone. I removed the bone but now it hums but the blades will not spin. There is no reset button on this model. It did this once beforenad was broken for a couple of weeks and fixed itself (when the repairman showed up) but I don't know how.

Try to move it physically with a 1/4 inch hex wrench, right in the center on the bottom. Unplug it first. If that fails, try to move it with a broom handle or large screwdriver from above. If it moves freely, and there are no loose wires at the connection, replace it. (1/2 HP or larger will handle those bones.)
