Hello,
My microwave buzzes when used for approx 3 or more minute cooking times, all cooking is weak (weaker when buzzing). Had low utility voltage 2 years ago (approx 100 vac). I'm handy, understand HV caps and standard elect safety rules. Can it be repaired. Please advise.
Regards,
Paul.

Hi Paul,

The cause of the problem could be the high voltage transformer or the magnetron tube.

It's very hard to perform an instrumental test on these parts due to high voltage.

Maybe you should think about a new microwave vs repair.

- The part number for the magnetron tube is AP324677

- The part number for the high voltage transformer is AP324659
