Replacing a dryer belt around the drum is easy but what is best way to remove the cabinet to access the drum?

Disconnect power.

There should be screws inside the door pointing upward, remove them. Once the screws are out you should be able to lift the top.

At the bottom of the front panel there should be two 5/16 screws on each end, loosen them.

At the top inside the dryer case there are two screws pointing outward, remove them. Once done you should be able to lift the front panel up and out of the way. Hope this helps! Clothes Dryer Repair Guide
