I was going to just purchase and another one until I looked at the cost. So,. a little help is needed here. The compactor has been making a big rumbling sound but doing its job. Now I find a screw above the plunger which I can see was a slip into hole type of part. I need to screws for the plunger it looks like. The unit does not start when I turn the switch..this is new.
I do not remember the year but its been a long time. TAlk to me and maybe we can get it going again. I have fixed it before by calling the
toll free number for advice and as a backyard do-it-youtselfer I think I can follow directions for a woman..-):) Model 5MC800400, Serial D13504959, Stock 5H08000 ( as near as I can tell) Thanks.
