You are welcome. But I do not think the voltage over 13 VDC is a good reading. You may want to check it at the control board too.
Gene.

Gene, you are correct and thank you. The voltage output at R and Y was up to 19.5vdc. I bought a new motor, but instead of installing it, I tested the resistance and it read the same as the old motor, although each reading was polarity specific. I got two different readings on R/W at the new motor when I reversed polarity of the ohmmeter. Why is this? Also, the old motor still runs for a couple of seconds when first plugged in. So, I'm guessing its the motherboard. Wish I knew better how to test the motherboard before buying a new one.

Everything is set correctly. Could it be because this is a variable speed induction motor?

Gene. I just got a new board to go with the new motor, and will install them together and hope for the best. Thanks.

You are welcome. Both new parts together should fix it.

Gene. Hello again. Installed both parts and it worked fine for over a month. Yesterday I found the evaporator coil all frosted up. Defrosted with the blow dryer, seems to be working OK again. Any ideas what might have caused the coil to frost up? Thanks.
