Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/16/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		My microwave started making a grinding noise and I found that when the turntable is turned off the sound stops. I took apart the turntable and got down to the motor and took all of the pieces and wiped them clean. (there was only a slight bit of dust on them) I examined the turntable shaft and the motor. The turntable shaft seems to be worn on the inside and no longer has a flat spot where it should. Thank you in advance for your assistance. -T
