The washer timer that I recenty bought from you is either defective or requires a different installation method. Timer part numbers: Washer manual part number - 3358741 Label on old timer - 3358741A Label on new timer - 3946439B Part number found when searched on your web site - Part Number: AP3605418 Manufacturer's Number: 285938 (3358741) Made by Whirlpool
The timer that was removed has 2 threaded holes for installation with 2 crews. The new timer that I bought from you does not have threaded holes and therefore cannot be installed using the screws. Is the timer I bought defective? Should it have threaded holes? If not, what is the correct installation method for the new timer? Thanks Kurt

Sorry that happened. When I look at the picture of the part you should have received it does look like the two holes are there. Here is the link, look and see if that is what you received. Part number: AP3605418
If that is not what you got, call APP and get it replaced. If it is, call them and see if they can check to make sure they have the right part. (those of us who respond on this Forum are volunteers and not connected with the APP parts operations so we are somewhat limited to help with something like this). You should have received an exact duplicate of your existing timer.
