The timer dial on my Maytag only work on the timed Dry Cycle. Vents clear. Clothes dry perfectly on that cycle but no Intellidry/Airfluff or Perminent Press/Intellidry cycle works. Is it the Timer itself since it does partially work. Or could it be a sensor? Please advise.

On the regular cylce when I pull up on the knob nothing happens at all. No the cylce doesn't start. Only when I used the timed dry cycle and that works just fine not slow or anything.

Sounds like the timer has gone bad. If you need the correct part number post the serial number of the dryer.
